Cognition & MemoryÂ
We offer person-centred occupational therapy support for individuals with a range of cognitive experiences and support needs, including differences or changes in memory, attention, thinking, processing and problem-solving. This may include people living with dementia, age-related changes in cognition, or other cognitive differences that influence everyday life.
Our Approach
Supportive Strategies
Support may include exploring practical strategies for memory and daily routines, adapting activities or the home environment, and finding meaningful ways to support independence, participation, confidence and wellbeing. Sessions may take place at home, outdoors or through equine-assisted experiences, depending on each person’s interests, needs and preferences.
Our approach recognises that every person has their own strengths, experiences, preferences and ways of engaging with the world. We work alongside individuals, and their families or carers where appropriate, to explore what matters to them, build on existing strengths and find supportive ways to navigate everyday activities, routines and environments.

Whether the aim is to maintain independence, enjoy meaningful activities, connect with nature or find new ways of approaching everyday life, our focus is on creating supportive experiences that respect each individual’s identity, choices and pace.
