Liv
Director & Specialist Occupational Therapist
Liv is an experienced and highly trained Occupational Therapist whose roles have been across both paediatric and adult settings including SEND primary and secondary schools, children’s residential homes, older adult settings and community and inpatient mental health rehabilitation services.
Liv specialises in working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, sensory differences, mental health needs, trauma and anxiety.
Liv holds an MSc in Occupational Therapy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Equine Facilitated Therapy, and a BA (Hons) in Interactive Arts. She is trained in a variety of sensory-based interventions including EcoSensory Therapy and Therapeutic Listening . Liv is certified in both paediatric and outdoor first aid.
Liv is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
Ellie
Creative & Administrative Director
Ellie is our creative and administrative director here at Maverick Therapies. Ellie holds a BA Hons in photography and has many years of experience in social media and creative fields alongside co-creating and facilitating social change initiatives and community projects.
Ellie has a varied role at Maverick Therapies from creating our website, managing our social media and responding to enquiries, to caring for our horses and supporting with sessions. Ellie really is the glue that holds Maverick Therapies together.
